Substrate and casing

Substrate
  • 4 pint jars of 1:1:1 verm, ground WBS and hpoo compost
  • Sterilised horsepoo / straw / vermiculite in a bag (inoculated with rye spawn prepared from agar wedges; bag dumped into the tub when fully colonised)
Thin layer of mixture of coir/verm/chalk/oystershell; per advice the casing layer is NOT misted - fruits grow from a drying surface
