Privacy
What we store
- From Reddit sign-in: your Reddit account ID, username, account age and karma. Nothing else, and never your password.
- From Google sign-in: only Google's account ID for you, and the display name you choose here. Your Google name, email address and photo are not stored, and sign-in tokens are discarded right after sign-in.
- That you confirmed you are 18 or older, and when.
- What you post: grow reports, experiences, photos, notes, suggested edits, reports and contact messages.
- When you edit a post, the earlier version is kept so the site owner can see what changed. Only the current version is public.
- Whether you turned on a public page for your grow posts (off unless you switch it on).
- Photos are re-encoded when you upload them. Location, camera and other embedded data are deleted before anyone sees the photo.
- A cookie that remembers your sign-in, one that remembers the 18+ confirmation on experience pages, and one for your light/dark choice.
Who sees it
Published posts are public, with your Reddit username. If you turn on your public page, your live grow reports, photos and notes are also listed together under your username; experience reports never are. Posts are checked by an automatic reviewer (an AI model run by a third-party provider) and by the site owner before they go up. We don't sell data or run ads or trackers.
The notebook assistant
When it is switched on, the Ask page sends the text of your question, recent messages on that page and excerpts of the site's published pages to an AI model through OpenRouter, which passes it to an inference provider that serves the model (providers are limited to ones that don't keep or train on prompts). Both act as processors for us. Your username, account ID, IP address and photos are never sent. Questions and answers are kept for 30 days so the site owner can review abuse, then deleted.
Getting things removed
Delete any of your posts from your posts page. To remove everything, or anything about you posted by someone else, use Report a problem. Deleted or removed photos are kept privately for up to 30 days in case a removal was a mistake, then erased, except where the law requires us to preserve them.
